There stood Ignis, clutching the Fyel Oress in his right hand.

It's been too long, Miss Umbra. I figured I would drop by when I got ahold of this. And may I add, you are looking as lovely as ever.

By force of habit, Umbra looked around, expecting a bunch of Oress holders to pop up and fight for justice and all that.

"...Is it the real deal?"

[Ignis Phasmatis]

Damn.

Ignis chuckled to himself and tossed Fyel to Umbra.

Yep. Black is pretty much condemned to die, so he left his Oress here in his room at Castle Oress. All it took me was to act like Black and get in there, grab Fyel, and get out in a hurry before anyone noticed it was me. Who said being a mirror soul shard was a bad thing?

After examining the orb for a brief moment, she spoke up.

"Clever...looks like you're useful, after all."

Her eyes returned to the orb once more, and traces of a wicked smile could be detected on her face.

"Black...you said he's 'condemned to die', right? What's that all about?"

[Ignis Phasmatis]

Well, as God of Secrets, he was appointed by the other Gods to destroy The Bitlands for being a danger to other existances with a spell only the God of Secrets has access to... of course, he grew to love this land and it's people too much. Right now, a large gathering of fighters are attempting to strike him down in order to prevent him from being forced into invoking the spell that would, frankly, wipe every last one of us out. He's over half-dead right now... even with all of his power, his stamina is pathetically low for a God.

Meanwhile, Shiro had long disappeared from the Mansion without a trace, taking the Lich Lord with him.

Umbra seemed to mentally go over if this would end up as good or bad, and ended with a look of satisfaction.

"Well, that's one less Oress Holder to worry about, then, right? If this keeps up; this might just be easier than I originally thought."

[Ignis Phasmatis]

Ignis glanced at Fyel for a moment before returning his deep purple gaze to Umbra.

What are you planning to do with Fyel, anyways? Because from what I can tell from this booklet I snatched from that weird rabbit, an Oress can be used by any alternate form the signer has. Seeing how I am technically still a part of Black... do you think I would have the ability to control Fyel?

"In all honesty, I'd be surprised if you weren't able to, since you're so deeply connected to him. In fact, you wouldn't even need to be a "part" of him to use it at least somewhat. Anyone with some sort of intense mental connection or blood relation to the Oress Holder can manipulate their Oress to, at the most, a very limited extent. Seeing that you're actually a part of Black, however, you'd probably have as much control over it as he does."

Think I could take a crack at it then? It's just the Oress, Maiex, than the spell, right?

Ignis held Fyel in his right hand and held it aloft.

Fyel Oress - Flames of Torment!

At Ignis's words, an enormous plume of purple flames exploded into the air and formed into a giant, strikingly-realistic demonic face, which roared as it let loose a stream of flames from it's mouth before dissipating. Ignis stared in amazement for a moment before looking back to Umbra.

...Even better than I imagined, I will have to admit.

I would be glad to offer you my services in dealing with the other Oress holders... I have something against most of them already, anyways.

Seeing how your two goons vanished off, I would make a more than fitting replacement. And with Fyel here, everything should go oh-so-smoothly.
