I have come to this BBS because people linked to one of my YouTube videos from the forums here, and I followed the link back. The video is about the game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and is entitled "Stealing the Gray Cowl from the Gray Fox in Oblivion."
A bit about me: I'm always looking for some good forums, and this one seems cool. I've been into gaming since I got my TI/994A when I was 4 years old. I got a Mac and a Nintendo in the 80s, and now in 2007 I have just about every game system ever made along with about 25 different models of Apple computers (mostly Macs) with lots of games on them. Recently I've been playing some old Infocom text games.
My claim to fame: I happen to be the inventor of the WASD + mouse key configuration for first person shooter games. I was playing that configuration in Marathon on the Mac in 1994 while all the lame PC users were still using the arrow keys without a mouse playing DOOM 1 (which wouldn't even let you look up and down; Bungie was always better). Then I went to a LAN party and showed them the light, and they all switched after I pwnd them heinously. I also posted about the effectiveness of WASD + mouse in the Bungie forums. Shortly thereafter every game shipped with the WASD + mouse configuration as the default. So I have to take credit for that.
Other than that, my favorite game of all time is Bungie's Marathon 2: Durandal, which is coming to XBOX Arcade on the 360 soon! Sweet!
