http://childtrader.com/

This is a site at which parents trade children. Not just, send your child to another family for a week and you get theirs, you trade them, with all sort of legal papers. After you did the trade and went to some legal stuff, the child is YOURS.
You can trade your children for other children, or even for money

Quotes from F.A.Q.

Quote:
My child is pretty run-down. Should I still consider trading him/her?

Yes! One man’s garbage is another man’s gold, so don’t count your kid out of trading eligibility just because of bad skin, awkward arms or thick glasses. Many parents find these traits adorable in trades, especially if they find their child too handsome, too athletic or too intelligent. Do you consider those bad traits? Some trading parents do.

Quote:
How do I place a fair value on my child for trade?

We have a number of guidelines in place to help you determine the value of your child in advance of trade proposal. (Go HERE to read a detailed summary of trade valuation guidelines.) In general, you should consider height, weight (based on percentiles by age), athleticism, attractiveness and overall health. Beyond that, it’s all up for debate. Maybe you think your child is too quiet or too loud, too active or too passive, too reserved or too sexually aggressive. These are all matters of taste, and ones that can be considered by other parents who may be able to love your child in ways you just couldn’t bring yourself to.

Quote:
How much can I get for my precious angle?

First of all, your precious angle is obtuse, but your angel, however poor her upbringing quite obviously is, based on your question, may just fetch a fair amount of equity in trade. While we can not put a specific dollar value on human life, we can suggest the Dobson/Heywood Scale, which does exactly that. If your child can pull a +1 or +2, you could get a child two grades lower plus up to $10,000 in trade equity per grade. If your child is already a -3, you may have to offer up a rental house to get even a 0-balance child.

This has to be the stupidest thing ever. Especially since its LEGAL, man.

I really hope that this is some sort of joke or something.

I mean, what kind for *crag* up parents would TRADE their child for another? Putting a kid up for adoption can have reasons. Trading kids is just *crag* stupid and selfish.

"Oh, I've always wanted a child with blonde hair, that's why we're getting Jim!"

"Who's Jim, mommy?"

"Oh, we're giving you to Jim's parents, Timmy. You aren't exactly what we wanted, anyway."

It isn't legal. It's obviously a hoax/joke, just like alot of the other stuff posted here that turned out to be obvious jokes (Landover Baptist Church or whatever it was called, and the kid who made "Make a Wish go bankrupt. In fact, enough people here actually believed the first mentioned site that they actually organized a raid against it, or something. lawl)

Also, just in case you're unsure about stuff like this, check websites like this, below, to make sure if it's a hoax or not.

I know I ruined it, but I'm just doing it for safety, ya know- if you remember the Landover Raid, some people here can take things quite seriously.

I wasn't talking about you; rather, the people who raided the Landover site because they thought it was 'real.'

HUH? That's so weird, I can't believe that actually is legal. What I'm more interested in is WHO would actually do it. That's just wrong to do that to children.

EDIT: Oh, now I read that it's a joke. Well it's still weird either way.....I feel sorta dumb now lol!
