We have to put my dog to sleep....

She's been puking for a while now, and medicine hasn't been helping. It turns out she has a stomach tumor. They could operate, but it's risky for such a small animal. (Toy Poodle..) And it just may make her worse so she'd die with more pain.

She was my Mom's Boyfriend's dog, but... I had her for more than 5 years now... I just... can't imagine her gone. She was the sweetest dog ever... Even if she didn't know you, she'd lick you and trust you with all of her heart.... I don't want her gone...

I've had two dogs put to sleep, and another one just up and die on me.
As much as I'd like to say I feel for you, though, I can't because that'd be a lie.

I never understood why people gave hugs over the internet.

Well, when I'm not like, unbelievaly sad like now, It helps to know that someone cares to "hug" you. Even if it is online.

But it doens't do anything at other times..

And yeah, good to know, LB.. =/

If I had pets die on me, I wouldn't not feel bad when someone else's were. =/

Sometimes to try and convey the feelings invested in a real hug, and if the receiver has the mind for it at the time, it MAY get across. That's my only guess other than that if they were there irl, they'd give a hug. To show they care. There are, of course, other ways to.

It's hard, I know. One of my dogs had to be put to sleep, at 15, and another was ran over at 1... *hug?*

She's about that age, too.

And sorry to hear that happened to you, too. As well as the other dog.

I have good news for ya, and bad news. Good news, you get over it eventually. I had a cat that had been alive longer than I had, and she died. I was pretty miserable for a week or so, but now it doesn't really bother me much. The bad news is where I found it you spelled miserable wrong.

Thought I fixed that...

And I know I'll get over it EVENTUALLY, but still...

Some people do, yeah.

With others? No. Sorry, some people don't get over it. If you're going to say "It gets better," too, no. You'd be wrong with that, too.

Sorry, just stating the facts. :/

The misery lessens with each passing... Uhh, some amount of time. You always get over it, even if you don't get over it completely.
