It's true. I came up with an idea to settle the debate, once and for all. And it's not just movie magic. (OMFG THATS PURE GOLD)

Post count is perfectly normaly viewed, but on profiles, you can see Off topic and Rollplay off topic posts. So you can see total posts, and ones only in the OT forums.

Pointless. The point is that in an elitist society like digibutter, false post counts are giving more power to people who have contributed less. No one should care about these other counts in the first place. Hell, just strip all counts out.

This is what the "points" (visible on your profile) is for, kinda. It's a good estimate of how much a user has contributed outside of OT and RPOT.

For example:
Popple has 688350 points and about 10000 posts.
Francis have 697049 points and only 6000 posts
This would imply that I have contributed about the same as Popple, even though I have less posts.

You can also compare the "find all posts" count for a user with their post count. Popple has ~5600 posts found, so that means almost half of his posts have been made in OT/RPOT (or the dump).
