Technically, he isn't the first black to be president, but he's the first African American to be president. He is bi-racial since his mother is white and from Kansas and his father is black and from Kenya. |

Whilst I as a german (Why yes, I take every possible opportunity to remind you of that - LOOK AT MY FUNNY PASSPORT ! I HAVE MY OWN CURRENCY ! =D) couldn't care less, I'm glad that the White Boy's Club at the White House gets some change.
Also, McCain has all the charisma of a dead fish,m and I STILL think he looks like the face of George W. Bush on the body of Dick Cheney (though the Photoshop didn't work. D=)) |

lol Obama was gonna win from the start, lets face it, people wanted a colored man in office...and they *crag* got it. Why do you think people still voted for him after they found out he was friends with one of America's biggest terrorist? Why do Why did they still let him run for office even though he wasn't born in the United States?
IMO, Obama was set up to purposely win this election. Now lets hope he doesn't *crag* everything up in his 4 years in office. |

Actually, from the beginning, Hillary was claimed to win. I don't even think John McCain was even too popular back then.
Also, I watched the elections last night... After Obama won Ohio, it was pretty much over. No presidential candidate has ever won the race without winning over Ohio. |

Well, I'm not American, but I still had an eye out for the elections. Because you guys directly affect my our country.
Ourselves, we are glad Obama won, because we though McCain would be pretty much Bush's legacy, and all he did for us was shit. I never heard of any terrorist stuff on Obama before I read this topic, and I'm sure that I am very ignorant about everything that went on, as is the rest of us.
But, if Obama doesn't screw up with Brazil, fine enough. Maybe we are being selfish on this line of thought. But we're not in a position to accept being screwed up on further, and it just seemed like Obama would be the best president for us. Not sure about for the US, but for us. |

People like this ^ Explain how and why and what Obama is going to do to "change" the U.S. Is he going to just take office and everything be fine?
More than that he's black and that his ads say he is the change we need, what reasons?

...but I hope the best for Obama's presidency...
...I just hope that the next 4 or possibly 8 years are good ones for the USA...
