That's actually not true. XD
MALAK's father was Japanese, but his family has been in America for years, and it's been mixed quite a few times, so he's only partially Japanese in a way. It's kind of hard to explain (At least for me). :/
FYI, I have a different father, therefore I have no Asian blood, in case you people were wondering why I addressed his dad in such a manner. ._.; |

There's a bit of a difference between being referred to as "Japanese" and having Japanese blood.
Suma's comment basically meant that MALAK doesn't live in Japan, and he isn't a part of Japan's culture(there's also a difference between loving a culture and being a part of it, though M'aiq isn't 100% sure where MALAK lies). |

This confuses me. I don't see how marrying a fictional character would change anything besides the tax cut. I guess doing it just for the tax cut kind of make sense, but still... |

That's what Popple was talking about.
You honestly need to get over it and find a real girlfriend. An anime character will never have feelings for you, and, lets face it, the most you can ever get from one is a soundboard(replaces actual conversation), AMVs(replaces idunnowhat), hentai(replaces sex?), and fanfictions(replaces actually going out to places with a girl), and M'aiq is pretty sure that all of those pale in comparison to the real thing.

I somewhat understand what he is getting at, though not at the same level.
I idolize a few manga characters, though in reality I really just respect the personalities that the writers' have created.
I seem to have a knack for picking the character that always gets killed off halfway through a series I'm reading, and that tends to be disheartening. Kind of like a your role model dieing, I guess that would be the real world example.
And although it isn't to the same degree as Malak, considering that he did have some affections for this character, having it taken away from him like that could defiantly be depressing.
Though I still think that he is completely overdoing it and needs to get the *crag* over it. |
