That a mod or admin must unlock a topic that turns into a flamewar if the topic starter requests it and they had no intention of it happening. If the war is still carried on, jail the participants for about an hour so they can cool down.
This way, it is still fair to the ones who actually wanted to see where the topic was going, and still keeps the flames low. |

My take on it removes people vouching to unlock it aside from the starter themselves, and it MUST be unlocked some time after their request is made.(When is up to them and the mod's log on times), regardless of their position in the reason for the topic lock. But if someoen tries to bring up the flames again, they're jailed for an hour regardless of strikes to cool down, but the time limit they're in there can't change no matter how many times they pull it. |

and if there is a way to thread ban users on this forum than it should be used after that thread is unlocked |
