From my understanding of the report button a moderator has to green list a trial into court. Meaning you have to decide if something is the real McCoy or not. I mean you decide to strike and then they decide to testify. Why do we have so many pointless court topics. and no real resolution? You moderators as I understand it also have the ability to Ignore a report correct? Particularly N00bish ones Use your own *crag* judgment. If you can't then I'm sorry to say this but as whole you aren't doing your jobs.
The cloud of ambiguity works both ways. think of that next time you strike someone for something pointless or lighthearted. |

To my understanding, the mods only serve to prevent abusing reports - say, a member went on holiday for a week and another member reported loads of their old posts, which then are left beyond 24 hours and rack up large amounts of unfair jail time. I don't think the mods are supposed to 'judge' reports anymore. |

Highly incorrect. Reports are not strikes. A mod sees the report and has the choice of what to do with the reported post and the report itself. No mod, no strike. Simple as that. I don't know where you guys get all this "Report = Strike" junk. |

You guys have no idea how the system works, and that makes me giggle. :) Lots of people report things daily, ( Some reports are more annoying, and not as necessary as others, but they do come by the boat loads never-the-less. ) and when a topic is reported the mods have a choice of either to "warn" "strike" or "delete". If the post in question seems stupid, but not strikeable, I usually just warn them. If the post in question is obviously strikeable, well then I strike them. But if the post is in between those two, I usually wait for another mods opinion before doing anything about it. And obviously if the report is bad, then it just gets deleted...
IN NO WAY ARE REPORTS GOING TO HURT ANYONE. REPORTING JUST HELPS US FIND ALL THE LITTLE RULE BREAKERS. IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WANT TO GET SOMEONE STRIKED AND JUST REPORT THEM, YOU ARE REALLY NOT DOING ANYTHING. D:

You know what the problem is?
Some of us are begining to think that the mods don't even READ the POSTS AROUND THE *crag* reported post.
And even THEN, sometimes it's clearly NOT flaming, and it gets striked. |
