Name: Dominic Blackburn Age: 29 Sex: Male Species: Human Height: 6'3 Weight: 145 Weapons: Icy Machete, Fiery curved Sage Blade, Large serrated axe with black grip and detail, and a red gem in the center. Armor: Black and silver armor with feather details; hands of gloves have a miniature eagle head extending over the knuckles. Helm is in the image of an eagle's head, although usually wears a dark blue blindfold. Abilities: Expert battle tactician and sparrer, vast knowledge of swordsmanship and combat. Can focus the corresponding element into his weapon to either burn, or freeze. Strengths: Unarmed combat, sparring, excellent strength and physique, can endure a great deal of pain before showing it, can command troops into perfect battle formations, and is an excellent diplomat/linguist. Weaknesses: Slow moving in his armor, weak against most types of magic, distracting him or causing him to lose his concentration can make him lose the ability to "see", is extremely weak against mind invasions/possession. Personality: Dominic is often silent, but can be friendly and welcoming to those who approach him. He doesn't consider himself a warrior, but instead a soldier. He says that warriors strive for bloodshed and senseless violence, while soldiers protect the weak and uphold standards of excellence. Despite his intimidating appearance, he is eager to help those in need and perform acts of charity to those less fortunate. Dominic carries the large burden of being a former Justiciar, which he knows he can never make peace with in the end. Lore: He was formerly a Justiciar in the White Mantle, but upon the destruction of the Mantle he completely reformed and saw exactly what he was doing. He wears the blindfold not out of necessity, but as a way to focus his mind and use his intellect instead of strength during a fight. By removing his ability to see, his other senses are sharpened to almost supernatural levels. Instead of looking where his enemies are, he listens for the faintest noise that would reveal their location. He doesn't know his family, as he was taken for training in the Krytan Army at a young age before joining the White Mantle. He sacrificed numerous men, women, and children while in the Mantle, and deeply regrets his actions. He worships to the Raven Spirit instead of the Mursaat, which the Norn believe to be a holder of wisdom. By abandoning his shining white armor and instead taking on a suit of armor adorned with metallic feathers, he tries to focus the wisdom of the Raven into him to help him in battle.
