I agree that richer users should be taxed/fined more than poorer users, but 100x more is ridiculous. And since the Digieconomy is one that works with little income, it could take months, even years, to recover such high fines as thousands. But it only takes a short amount of time to recover a fine of 20. Richer users should be fined more, but not such an excessive amount. 5% is a far better idea, keep in mind that even that's -1000 coins for me for one measly little spam post or debateable flamebait. |
\ 5% First offense 10% Second offense 15% Jailed offense Thats my proposal
Richer users would be fined at the same percentage rate as the poor and middle class. Regardless of the amount of coin dropped. you would be paying proportionately as much as someone else in a lower bracket
Why should you pay less for breaking the law? proportionally you are paying the same as I am. 60 coins to your 1000 coins. its a light slap on the wrist to cut it out.
I know you worked for your fortune. but you own the most recognized user shop on digibutter. you are wallmart, Coins Flow to you. hence why if you break a rule you should be punished like any other rule breaker. same percentage.
You aren't supposed to feel comfortable paying a fine. its a punishment |

Actually, now that I am rich, I think it should be 10%. More incentive not to break the rules. ಠﮯ๏ |

I believe we should not have coin fines at all - if you lose some coins, so what? It's not like their overly valuable. It doesn't really achieve the desired effect of deterring members from doing crimes. |

The issue is that rich people are getting punished way more. 20 coins is a lot less than 2000, it's freaking hard to make 2000 coins, making 20 is a breeze. Poorer users can recover easily, rich users it could take months or even years to recover from that. |
First of all, yeah, Gold Bars...
Second, so ? Nobody really uses the money, the only thing you're haggling about here is status. There isn't anything inherently wrong with that. Also, why shouldn't all be punished to an extend matching what we have ? |
