I keep getting this virus. Hamweq is what it's called. I can get Avast and get rid of said virus, but then the comp slows down to a crawl. If I get rid of avast, I'm fast again, but I get the virus again. What do I do? |

No, but most of them require you to buy their product before they do anything besides scan. |

So get AVG, dump avast, and then do what people do with avast: Get a pro account or whatever it is by buying a license code, right? |

Avast is the antivirus I was talking about in the first post. It's one of, if not the best for pure protection, but it slows the comp down a TON when it's starting up. |

Well then, I suggest you delete Avast (for now), try AVG and see how it works. |

Delete Avast, get a member on online.no and download Norton anti-virus control for free. It works great for me! Start a search for viruses in the Norton program to delete the viruses, just in case. Uhhm... One more thing, Online.no is an norwegian site, so you may get the instructions in norwegian. |
