I think it could be a great experience and something to jump start site activity. |

Frankly, just about any contest with members that involves voting is a popularity contest. |

Why's it a failure? :\ Achievements are a terrible idea because people WOULD spam to get them.
We need contests on this site, and the easiest ones to set up are "vote on the best" whatever. |

Let's get one thing straight, though. For the sake of fairness, all contests involving posts or members should NOT take into account the role-playing prowess of members from either role-play board, nor should any posts from said boards be counted as best posts. Best RPer and any contests involving RPing should not be put into play, as they are what will cause the popularity contest. |
