Today, I got an email from Nico Nico, and it made NO. SENSE. WHATSOEVER. I'm not talking about that it was written in Japanese. To be honest, I don't know what language they wrote this thing in! In case anyone can help me out, here's the email:

Two possible options:
They ran into the speed up button on the keyboard and couldn't find it 'fore it was too late.
A secret message from a spy that randomly typed in your e-mail instead of his secret organization.

I think this might be some kind of an error. I might be able to have someone translate it though. MIGHT. I probably won't.
Edit: looks like there's some problem with the encoding of this. Have the message re-sent. It should come back properly.*strokes metaphorical beard* |

Well, from the subject translation, it seems like it's about some sort of winter video contest...
And GTFO Strong Bad. If they accepted my account creation even though they could see from my email address (which I censored) that I wasn't Japanese, then they don't care about that. All that matters is whether or not I can read what's written on the site. Nationality is not a factor.
(How they can tell from the email address: Part before the "@" didn't have any resemblance to a Japanese name, and the part after didn't have ".jp" at the end. Since I have Comcast, my email address ends in "comcast.net". Therefore, it's not an email address based in Japan. (And since I didn't give my ENTIRE address, you can't spam my inbox )) |

What's happened, in my opinion, is that you don't have the Japanese character font thing installed on your comp. So instead of Japanese, random letters pop up. |

If you can read ^ , your computer can display Japanese writing.
And mine can. (Though when I hit Post Preview, the text gets *crag*ed into a random string of "�"s. (zeroes replace actual digits) |
