Off the top of my head I thought of this. Using [blink]Blink Tags[/blink], we could set text to blink. There could also be different blink rates, 60-240 times per minute (1-4 times per second), with the default being at 120. For coding I think it could work by alternating the regular text color to the transparent color (I forget what that is at the moment), or perhaps we could make text blink to colors, like [blink=blue]would make this text blink from olive to blue.[/blink] So an example of an advanced blink tag would be:
[blink=blue,180](or [blink=180,blue]) lol blinking text[/blink]
Whacha think?
EDIT: because people don't seem to get this...
THE TEXT WOULDN'T BLINK FAST ENOUGH TO GIVE ANYONE A SEIZURE, AND REGARDLESS PEOPLE CAME UP WITH SOLUTIONS ALREADY

Or in the profile area, you could choose if you want to be able to view it or not.
That way people with epileptic problems wouldn't have to see it, or something? |

It seems like a fun idea or so... But is there really much of a point to blinking text? The bads seem to overweight the small possible goods to come out of this feature. |
