I'm sorry, but this whole "only the moderators can vote thing" really irks me. Cannot another system be found? What then is the point of other members opinions?
It's almost worthless.
I think we should work out some sort of system where, every time someone is striked, maybe 5 or 7 (Has to be an odd number) members are chosen randomly to vote "guilty" or "not guilty". That would make things more fair in my opinion. It's like Jury Duty, only less annoying! ^-^ |

Who better for the job of voting than the moderators themselves? It wouldn't get any better if just a few members voted as opposed to just a few moderators. It'd still be the same "problem", those who can't vote have no real voice in the matter. |

If we do this, all mods will be good for is... Well, locking the odd topic and deleting spam. Your idea could also lead to biased voting, and our court system is dumb enough as it is.

Just let the mods vote, it's their job to choose what's right/wrong. Be happy we have a damn court. |
