As he turned around, the other combatants saw that he had a look of pure, unadultered loathing on his face. The dark part of his face, and his inner darknes as well, seeped out and cloaked the magician in itself as he went berserk. Dark magic crackled around him in an unholy storm as he started to hover in mid-air, and - SPLUT !

A few fragments of snow trickled off the floating mages' hair and continued to flow down his back in an icy river. The attacker let out a little chuckle. "Gotcha."

Zelnor's head whipped around with neck-breaking speed. And her spoke with a voice shaking the battelfield. The berserk rage that had burned around him had been violently extinguished - the magic ceased crackling and he looked - focused. He was past pure rage and had gone into a previously untouched abode of sanity.
"You dare attack me during my transformation sequence ? That's a dirty trick."

And as the author continued to rip off Those Lacking Spines - an excellent Kingdom Hearts parody fanfic - an entire dramatic chorus materializes onsite, just as a whole orchestra and Nobuo Uematsu arrived via skydiving out of a freight plane.

With a flick of Zelnor's wrist, the snow exploded, and as the crystals settled, the was an army of angry snowmen standing in front of him, howling and screeching at the others. A glance, and a metric ton of snow dissolved into twilight, and floated in one fluid motion around him and settled again, reforming into a castle of snow.

Zelnor floated over to a throne on the battlements.

"Let's see you hit me now, cheater."

And the snowmen charged.
