What's your most dissapointing game this year? Post your reason too.

My most dissapointing game is Far Cry 2. The AI is very dumb, more than half of the game consist of driving to one place and killing people which gets repetitive, and the sneaking element is non-existant.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

It wasn't as good as I expected. At all.

Rehashing for the sake of nostalgia < innovating.
The first half of Chrono Trigger Mirror's Edge. It was good, but only really in the action parts. When you were jumping around in little claustrophobic rooms, it could get pretty boring and frustrating. Plus it's really short and linear, which is something that big-name developers should really be avoiding like the plague nowadays.

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe.

It's a good game, it's just something I would have expected to see years ago. Like any other spinoff made just for profit, it doesn't really deliver that well.

I miss Black Isle.

Prof. Layton and the Curious Village. At first very fun, then painfully hard, then downright boring. Plus, I bought it at Walmart.

That's not a valid downside.

SSBB.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good game, but seriously, the hype made us think it was Jesus H. Christ himself coming.

SSBB. It was a half-decent game, but it only seemed amazing since they waited so long to release it, making all that hype well up. If a Melee player who never heard about brawl went out and got it right now, they'd switch back to melee.

Don't see why people are bashing AC:CF. It's a great game.

Brawl is obviously the most disappointing.

It's a carbon copy of Wild World, though.
