Of all the great, flagship games to come out in 2008, there was an equal amount, if not more, of lesser-known games that would only attract those that were interested, but were as good as they come. Which of these hidden gems is your top pick?
Mine would have to be Disgaea DS, and Prey the Stars.
Disgaea DS is a rare find, even though it only came out a few months ago. It's as deep and epic as the original, and only people that really know the game would pick it up.
Prey the Stars was a unique and surprising find, as I thought it was a canceled project. It's addicting and one of the DS's most unique experiences. |

Hmmm..... I'd say Endless Ocean. Or Prof. Layton, no matter how hard/boring/confusing it was |

Not so. I didn't give two shits about Disgaea until you posted the Disgaea DS topic, which convinced me to get it. |

I'm not going to go farther.
Anyways, I don't play many lesser known games, but if Professor Layton counts, that's exactly what I'm going to say. |
