Apparently at E For All, not only with Smash Bros. be there, but a new character will be announced that will "make Sega fans happy." Well this is obviously Sonic or NiGHT because right now they really are the only two eligible, but probably Sonic. Apparently if you send an e-mail to the E For All staff they will reply with a message similar to the one above. I suppose it could still not be true, but companies usually have to say in advanced what they are doing which gives it some credibility. Either way, we will just have to wait and see.

I believe it's in the fall, but don't quote me on that. It's a show open to the public that is more for trying out games coming out for the holidays then new announcements. |

Buh huh huh. So, it looks like Sonic's going to make it in. Well, I'm not as excited as I would have expected myself to be two years ago, but it's still nice.
...of course, it could always be another Sega character, such as NiGHTS or AiAi or whatever. I believe a composer from NiGHTS is working on the project's music, so, that might be a hint. Buh huh huh. |

Because Sonic was faked to be in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Making Sonic a playable character would seem like a desperate attempt to grab Sega fans attentions. |
