I would say Banjo-Kazooie, but my brother corrupted my game file right before I fought Grunty.
I would say Banjo-Tooie, but Canary Mary ruined it.
There are three games that get the win (and tie) from me. Blast Corps., BattleTanx: Global Assault and Wipeout 64. I just like them that much... |

Hell yeah. |
So, I'm NOT the only person on earth who's played it!
I haven't played it since I was at least 8 (we never bought it, just rented), but I remember I'd play it addictively and stuff.
My vote would go to either that, or Snowboard Kids 2. Good times, goooooood times. |

I played Chameleon Twist, also, and I remember it was really fun. I'll have to say Paper Mario is the game I remember with the most fondness, though. |

Ah, this topic brings back great memories. Sure, this first step into 3D gaming was awkward, but there was some really great N64 games, many of which still hold up today and should be re-made for next-gen.
I actually really enjoyed quite a few N64 racing games... Beetle Adventure Racing (sequel plz!)
World Driver Championship was super realistic
Top Gear Overdrive had awesome graphics (and a great selection of cars)
Diddy Kong Racing was 100x better than Mario Kart 64
Wave Race 64, 1080 Snowboarding, and Excitebike 64 captured their respective sports perfectly
There are others too... San Francisco Rush, Extreme-G...
Forsaken 64 was like the classic game Decent, and the multiplayer was awesome
I played the fool out of WCW vs NWO. It was the first of it's kind, and there have been a million duplicates since.
Turok 2 was a great FPS with awesome weapons and fun multiplayer (kill the monkey!)
Pilotwings 64 was breathtaking when I first saw it, realistically flying around a 3D island..
Some already mentioned: Perfect Dark was Goldeneye perfected.
I loved Bomberman 64 multiplayer, and they have yet to make a 3D bomberman since.

Oh HELL yes I remember that game...

I acually liked this game as well, even though every site I see it mentioned on says it sucked.

I have to say I liked the second Rush game best, just because of that crazy awesome stunt track. I also remember some of the more pointlessly hilarious codes, like the one that turned the sewer rats into monsters that made you blow up. |

| They have Bomberman Adventures or something like that on the GCN. It's nowhere near as good as Bomberman 64, though, so...

I was referring to the multilplayer stages being 3D. Both Bomberman Generation and Jetters had 2D battle stages:

Fond Reminisces...
Banjo-Kazooie (Haven't played Tooie; wanted to ever so badly) DKR Mystical Ninja - Starring Goemon Rocket: Robot on Wheels Worms: Armageddon Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Battletanx Battletanx: Global Assault Army Men: Sarge's Heroes Duke Nukem 64
And the obvious FPSes: Goldeneye 007 Perfect Dark (I beat it, all the way through Perfect Agent, in 6 months)
That's all I can remember right now. Ah, the memories...
Say, is it me, or does it seem like the 64 had more action games that were worth playing?
EDIT: By which I mean, in comparison to GCN or Wii, did it seem like it had more? |

I think that's because the N64 had a better good:bad game ratio when compared to a load of the crap the GC got, and the truckloads that the Wii has to be put through.
It also doesn't help that MS has RARE now. |

Does Diddy Kong Racing count?
If so, then OH MY *crag* GOD DIDDY KONG RACING IS THE BEST N64 GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. |

The Single Greatest IMO?
Gex. Hands Down. Don't Care What You Say. It's Gex.
Runner-Ups are the Rush Games, and Banjo Kazooie |
