Because I felt that a topic was needed.
I also feel that TA is far superior to TA2 because of jobs, characters, and the MP system.
My stars would have to be Doublesword Paladins, Hunters with Blue Magic, Gunners with Mog Knight abilities, Defenders with Gladiator abilities, Assassins with Half MP, and Sages overall.

I liked TA better because of the law system. It actually forced you into some sticky situations, but TA2's laws were stupid, and didn't make enough of a difference anyway.

Yeah. Laws against moving certain amounts of spaces or being stolen from sound like laws from TA's postgame.

I heard FFTA and came right over

Oh lord, don't get me started on the law system. I actually liked TA's okay, even before TA2 came out.

As for favorite job combinations...

Hunter/Paladin: Because Holy Sword is amazing like you can't believe, and even better ranged. Also Ultima Shot.

Hunter/Blue Mage: Just hell yes.

Gunner/anything: Gunners just kick that much ass. Especially if they're ridiculously overleveled and equipped with a Calling Gun, like mine is.

Red Mage/Summoner: Doublecast. That is all.

Alchemist/Sage: Meteor. And items. And Raise. And Death. Yeah.

That's all I can think of. :3

On a side note, am I the only one who got stuck with about 298 missions completed?

I always complete all 300, plus the postgame.
Also, a bunch of the characters in TA were better, Like Marche and Judgemaster Cid. Plus, fewer special characters made more room for you.

I just benched Adelle in TA2, and I don't plan on getting the secret characters. I might bench Cid in my new file; though he rules, I'd rather keep using the awesome team of 6 I'd been using since the very start.

yeah, I've completed all 300 missions in both games...only thing is, in TA2, I'm stuck on that final tournament thing. I get decimated by the Tonberries...they have incredibly high speed, the map is tiny, and Karma is an insta-kill every time. >_>
