By this, I mean have you ever seen something that, when you look at it, you just lose focus on everything around you?
There's only one thing I think that has truly done that to me: the damage counters that came with decks of Pok駑on cards. If you remember from when they came with those blue stones for counters instead of those crappy '10' coins, when I held them to the light and looked closely into them, I would just get lost in that soft blue glow. It gave me that kind of feeling where I didn't care what anyone around me was saying, if anything, just as long as I could keep looking into that hypnotizing glow...
...on another subject, it's funny what you can spontaneously remember, isn't it? |

My sister's photography.
I always thought of her as just... Y'know, a generic person. Who liked taking pictures. Until one day, I stumbled upon her DeviantART.

It was at that time when I realized the stunning pictures hanging on the living room wall wasn't by a professional photographer working for National Geographic, but it was my own sister.
I think I stared at each picture on her DA for at least 3 minutes. Each. One maybe 10. |

Boobs.
Honestly, not really. Well, when I play videogames I completely lose focus about everything around me, if that counts. Like sometimes, I'll try to play my DS while I walk, but I just end up running into things. |

Today, while I was driving down to the grocery store with my dad, I managed to let my eyes wander down the the road. It was night, so the pavement looked pitch black aside from patches of black ice or puddles that managed to catch some light from oncoming cars. My town is rather rural; there are areas where streetlights don't function, or are nonexistent.
As we drove further down the road, the wet snow became more apparent, as streetlights dotted the area more and more, right? The puddles caught the light; an odd yellow-orange colour and reflected it brightly. The stoplights decorated the pavement with streaks of red and green, as did the cars themselves.
I know it doesn't seem like much, but it's one of those things that you just don't pay attention to very often. It was amazing that a single glance downward could change one's thoughts from what they have to do to the world around them.
I dunno. |

I'm generally mesmerized by those fancy sculptures. Artwork, if done rather well, will leave me mesmerized. |

Music. A good pair of headphones usually makes even better. It's only happened a few times, but if I come to a song (usually an orchestra piece) that's just right, I"m completely lost in the sound. |

Snow falling. It's hard for me to focus on things when the snow is fluffy and falling because it's just so distracting and you want all the flakes in your mouth because they look like little marshmallows and marshmallows are tasty~. I'm going to be a bitch to drive with in the winter. I'll be driving and then the snow will start falling and I'll be like "OH SNOW. C:" and stop driving causing an 8 car pile up. D: It will be extremely bad at night because snow is more noticeable.
Fire is also mesmerizing. Maybe it's just bright things that fascinate me... D: Fire sort of confuses me too, so when camping at night I stare into the fire and just sort of let my mind drift along~. |

Super Paper Mario. That game is just so fun.
Also, video game music. Especially the soothing and soft kind. |
