Nintendo was originally gonna make Kirby yellow, and left him white in the bos art of Kirby's Dreamland. He is also named after the lawyer that saved them from getting sued by Universal over the rights for Donkey Kong, and his inhaling ability was from that vaccum company. THE MORE YA KNOW!

That lawyer is one of my dad's best friends, and I've met her.

Her name isn't Kirby.

Oh?

There is a good deal of debate on the origins of Kirby's name. One widespread view is that Kirby adopted his Western name from the Kirby Corporation, a vacuum cleaner manufacturer, which would best describe Kirby's abilities. The other possible explanation is that Kirby was named in honor of Nintendo's legal counsel, John Kirby of Latham & Watkins LLP, who represented them in the courtroom during a copyright infringement lawsuit over Donkey Kong filed by Universal Studios.

Yup.

Yup.
Quotes are invalid, unless there is a valid and credible source given. And I should know, because I've met the person.

ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu is it possible to keep this railed for 3 *crag* posts? We derailed this topic 3 times now.

Grand Turismo 2 has a scratch n sniff CD with the smell of burnt rubber!
More on that, Earthbound came with 6 scratch N sniff stickers. One of them was mystery, and if you sent it in with your guess, you go a prize!
There is Super Mario bros. Shampoo, underwhere and suspenders, and... CEILING FAN

Square uses so many damn allusions. Just look at the Final Fantasy summons.

Anyways, I learnt that the original FFIV script was cut by 3/4 or something like that. The DS remake fleshed out the story more, and changed the script to something closer to the original one.

Final Fantasy's 20th anniversary was acually in 2007((Sorry, accidentally put 1997. Was thinking it was made in 1977)). Why Dissidia was released in late 2008 as the "20th Anniversary Special", I don't know.
