I liked Twilight Princess personally, it's not as good as it's predecessors or even nearly as hard but it still was a decent game.
Also I think it wasn't as good as the others because casuals liked it and thats a big no-no. |

Flavio might as well point out though that Zant was a redeeming factor for the game. He was a pretty cool guy. |

I just beat the game, and see one thing that's very wrong. The final boss[es] were completely lackluster. I'm kinda glad they didn't end the game at Zant to make it longer, but at the same time, I'm not. The twilight palace looked like a final level, sounded like a final level, and the boss there was amazing. Easy, but amazing.
But then you go to hyrule castle, where there's still light outside, just a bit of rain, ganondorf's theme is the only thing playing, and then you fight a downright pathetic boss.
Still, I pretend the last part doesn't exist. |

Although Ganondorf wasn't very hard, most people I know admit that the atmospheric and thematic qualities made the "epic sword duel" between Link and Ganondorf cool as hell. It almost had a "cinematic" feel. I'm curious as to why you didn't find that last battle half-way decent, at least in look (As a true, one-on-one sword duel without interruption between the hero and the bad dude was something the series needed for a long time.)
Now, of course, you stated that you didn't like the lighting, but that is anothing thing I don't understand. Why would all final battles have to take place in complete darkness? After all, plenty of fantasy fiction uses atmospheric qualities similar to TP's final battle for their own final battles, just as plenty of others use darker sceneries.
