In the smoky puff of a shadow step, Deadly had appeared a little behind Kuruk. Drawing his daggers, he faced towards Lord Silverblade, his scowl hidden by his Assassin's mask.

All this talk of family honor... who decided to put you on such a high horse? Your type are the kind who really disgrace yourself. Either way, I'm not going to let you slaughter an innocent girl in the name of your family.

He was hit with the mace. With an "Oof!" he fell to the ground. "That was the last straw, boy. You die first now. And you, man, have no place to speak. This affair is none of your concern." He took a step forward.

Kuruk chuckled.

"You shouldn't have turned your back."

The chain in Kuruk's hand turned to rock, all the way up to the Mace's head.

All the spikes of the mace quickly grew from rock, a few were aimed at the man walking towards them.

"I may be old, but I am still fit." He backflipped, just out of the spike's reach. "Now I end this," he said. Just as it seemed he was going to make a move, his eyes went wide, and he crumpled to the ground, revealing a knife in his back and Natasha behind him.

None of my business? Assassins of Cantha are more than contract killers... we take an oath to keep the balance of the continent intact by eliminating the self-abosrbed, cruel, and others of that sort... and to me, you seem to fall under that category.

Deadly went to rush at the man, but stopped as he crumpled to the floor.

She fell to her knees, looking like she was about to break down, and moving her mouth, though no sound came out.

Deadly approached the fallen man, still clutching his daggers tightly. He didn't seem the least bit fazed by the man's sudden twist of fate.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was lulling you into false security. I nearly lost an eye like that before.

Lord Silverblade's eyes were glazed with death.
Natasha couldn't say a thing, only burst into tears and dive into Kuruk's chest.

Kuruk wrapped his arms around her tightly. "Shh..."

He turned to Deadly. "From the looks of it, it was lethal. I don't think he';s getting back up."

Yep, I guess so. You just have to be careful in my line of work, you would know, wouldn't you?

Deadly sheathed his daggers and stepped towards the pair.

...From the way the girl's reacting, I'm guessing she and the old man there still didn't hate eachother completely. I'd offer my advice... but it isn't my sort of thing. Never been the consoling type, or so I've been told. <.<
