Metal was damaged but swung the hammer at Yoshi who would be shocked and be damaged by the hammer if he did not avoid it. |

Metal did not avoid and was hit in the head and because Ed had struck Metal with his metal arm Ed was shocked.
Every time Metal was hit in the head he seemed to malfunction less. |
