Rai, one of my friends, called me up randomly about a week ago, saying she didn't want to be my friend anymore. It was completely random, and...
I know why she stopped talking to me. She stopped talking to ALL of her friends.
Okay, let's go over this again. Her mother was a stripper. Her father had a one night stand with her. She got pregnant, they never got married, but pretended they were. Just for her. AKA lying to her. Her mother started going to a bar, not working all the time, and then met Jen. A "friend." Except Rai and I once saw them having sex in their basement, which really made her cry. So, her mother hates her father, and is being a lesbian with her friend, she's planning to run off to California with Jen, as soon as one of her other friends dies of Pancreatic Cancer.
And she's lied to my Aunt countless times, and she's lied to Rai, too. It's just...Pathetic. Because both her parents are out all the time, she never eats supper unless she comes to my house... And it's just...Pathetic. It makes me feel completely powerless.
So, she stopped talking to all of her friends because she's thinking about suicide.
I don't want her to, but, honestly, I can't blame her. She doesn't think she should talk to her mom about it, because she's worried, and always ends up crying about it. Plus, she says she's too much of a coward.
How can I...Help her? Any idea would help, at this point... |

Anyways, I don't know how to tell you to help... Try to convince her not to. There ARE otehr ways. Staying with you, going to a foster home, where she at least has a much better chance of living a better life... |

I can't do that.
Not only would my Aunt not allow it, but I feel that would make things... Worse. Seeing how my Aunt is a bitch on a daily basis, and everything. I would if it wouldn't make things worse. |

Get her some place she can stay, like a fosters house, or possibly even DP's house since I heard he lives close to you. |

Getting a foster home for her is actually the best situation. She would get considerably more care than she would be getting right now.
But for now, just talk to her and try to make her feel better. |

I really think she should talk this through with her mom. No matter how painful it is, she should be strong and at least try. Maybe if she hears her mom's view on it, she'll understand better. I'm not that great with this stuff. Sorry.
