Anyway, everyday I'll post a random fact, and then you guys can discuss it, or post your own. Sometimes they will be long, sometimes short

Let's start with something to grab your attention.

Today's random fact IS:

The Chikan

Chikan is the Japanese term for pervert.

Now, in Japan, they have a major problem with sexual perversion, mainly on the railroads, because so many people are compacted into trains, you can even literally be lifted off the ground for the entire ride. Your bodies will be so compacted sometimes, it's almost impossible to tell if someone is a Chikan, or if they are just squished.

Now, why would this be interesting?

Well, some of the techniques people would use in Japan would be to maybe stick a camera or mirror to their shoes to look up someone's skirt.

In addition to that, there is "The Gropers Brotherhood", a group of 40 people who come from any background in Japan, and meet once a month to discuss to ides and to warn each other about where police are cracking down.

Their activities vary from finding places good for groping (not literally, but it is used as a term in Japan to mean perversion in general) to setting up rooms that resemble trains, and paying prostitutes to act like unsuspecting victims.

The current leader of this group, who's name, sadly, I forget, has been quoted saying "Groping used to be a solitary activity, however, because of the Internet, now you can meet all kinds of people who share the same sexual interests as you".


Interesting? Maybe.
