A robot with severed cords sticking out of its back was slumped against a wall.

[Spiny]

*Looking for some report worthy news, Emcee had metaphorically stumbled upon the robot.*
...?
*He lightly proded the tip of one of the cords.*

[Medikoopa]

The poke caused a spark of electricity to emit from the cord.

[Spiny]

*The reporter's hand jerked abit at the shock. He whirred with abit of a devilish tone as he drew his shock pistol, and charged it, causing the 'barrel' to spark with electricity.
He then touched the gun's tip to another cord.*

[Medikoopa]

That zap caused the strange robot to twitch.

[Spiny]

*He was hoping to get a larger reaction than that, but atleast there was a reaction.
He looked for any external activation switches on the robot.*

[Medikoopa]

At the center of the the robot's back was a small green button.

[Spiny]

*He began recording what he was seeing before he pressed the button, 'jumping' back, and keeping his weapon ready incase the robot became hostile.*

[Medikoopa]

Its head jerked to the side three times to the left, 10 degrees each. Then it did it again, but to the right.

[Spiny]

*He put away the weapon after hearing the plea.*
How may I be of assistance?

[Medikoopa]

The sound of like a camera shutter could be heard.

[Hrtz hurtz hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts hurts]

[Spiny]

*He was slightly disturbed by the robot's sense of pain.*
What hurts?
The cords on your back?

[Medikoopa]

It did not answer. It just kept repeating "hurts".

[Spiny]

Okay, it's apparently either in immense pain or it's psychotic.
Wait...
*He took out the shock pistol once more, and shot a light current at one of the cords sticking out of the robot's back.*

[Medikoopa]

That got its arms moving. The robot was now clutching its head and repeating the word hurts.
