They were on drugs when they wrote it.
But there are A LOT of good life lessons hidden throughout the story, as well as many other quotes that became famous from Alice in Wonderland.
The plot is kind of simple, she talks about how a book by her would make no sense but make sense at the same time, then she dreams about it. I like it because it's bright, fun, random and the characters are da bomb. |

Actually, it was never proven that he was on drugs when he wrote it, or him being a pedophile, he has good morals and the only chapter close enough to even resemble him being on drugs is the Catterpillar chapter. Heck, even the sequel perfectly follows a standard chess game! I don't think that someone on drugs could do that.
But, yes. I love the book. |
