I bought no animal crossing and i still say that the fact that You can actually code in new game modes (which is actually surprisingly easy) compared to a bunch of platformers made by people obsessed with penises
The story mode, in my opinion, is great enough to buy the game alone. Even if they took the create mode out, the game would still be fun; just not nearly as long-lasting.

Think of a classic platformer, add in physics, hilarious gameplay, and you have it.

LittleBigPlanet is a lot more accessible- you don't have to hassle with coding, 3D modeling, or any of that.
But that same time used for coding and modeling goes into thinking of levels, creating said levels, making items that go IN these levels, and possibly making the NPC dialogue if any.
Plus, in GMod, you don't even need to code or model that much. You can just download shit people already made and go to work on construct to make stuff. Point is, whether you accept it or not, that GMod and LBP are equal and respectable creators for similar reasons with similar flaws.
