Okay... I need some help. I'm trying to do all the side quests right now, and I'm at the part where Lucca goes back in time to save her mom. I know the Password is LARA, but do I press one button, wait, then press another button, wait, etc? Or do I press it really fast? When I try to press it fast, I get a error sound, and Lucca's mom gets her legs cut off... |

Press A at the sparkle, it'll say "Enter password", press A again, then press the L button, A button, R button, A button. |

YES. I HAVE FINALLY BEATEN THE BLACK OMEN, AND GOTTEN TO LAVOS'S THIRD FORM.
AND NOW I CAN'T KILL IT.

Lavos was actually pretty easy. It only took me 3 tries to Solo all three forms with Crono, but Dreamreaver... I have nightmares because of that move... |

What levels are your characters? Did you learn all your Single, dual, and Triple techs? Are you stocked up on items? What stuff do you have equipped? Am I asking too many questions? |

I substituted Lucca for Magus, and beat Lavos.
Then I tried fighting him again on Newgame+ with Crono, and Marle. It was entertainingly fail-rific. |

Do some Geno Dome leveling with them if you hope to beat Lavos in NG+
I'd also recommend a team of Crono/Ayla/Robo, which is actually rather powerful. Robo is your main healer in this team, and he can pack quite a punch. |

By the way, where the hell is the Dimensional Vortex i'm hearing so much about? I've seen the Arena of the Ages, and the Lost Sanctum, but I freakin' have no idea where the Dimensional Vortex is!! |

You have to beat the game, then it'll appear.
There's one in AD 1000, by Leene Square, AD 2300 by the Geno Dome, and 12000 BC where you end up after the Mountain of Woe crashes. |

I'm just about finished with the game now, I gotta go fill up on High Potions, High Ethers, Elixirs and Mega Elixirs and I'll be all set to beat Lavos. |
