It would be this:
http://konjak.org
Made by Joakim Sandberg, an gaming animator/designer (did animation for Contra IV) as a love letter to Zelda. If the characters/enemies/sounds are similar to Zelda, I'm sure it was purely coincidental
download here (for Windows)
Features battle with Ganon and Dark Link and you select your starting items to adjust the "difficulty".
I would not mind at all if Nintendo took Zelda in this direction... |

Does MKFusion count, or no? Because that looks like it'll be kick-@$$ with Link in side-scrolling format. |

Sorry, I meant good side-scrolling action game. | Zelda II was good to me... The only fail was the fact that you lost EXP when hit by certain monsters and that you could use keys anywhere which could end up screwing you over, otherwise it was a decent game... |

Just beat it with the Boomerang and Hookshot. I can't even begin to describe how awesome that was. I only died once, and that was to dark knockoff link. also lol King Gohnad ФֻФ |

Dark Link was fairly inventive. Ganon was nostalgic due to how the damaging worked(But being able to just mash the attack button detracted from difficulty.) King Gohnad was actually a challenge.
Overall, the game's pretty good. I chose the Bow and Arrow w/ Hookshot, meaning it was a pretty much normal mode. |

The first time I played, I couldn't figure out how to defeat Ganon because I didn't know that "D" used your sword. I had used only the Boomerang all the way up to that point. |

I liked it, I used the feather and boomerang the first time, then used the Bombchu and Cucoo the second time. Also,

Oh hey it's that guy that made that absurdly popular given it's quality platformer!
Oh well, this one I quite enjoyed. Came upon it a couple days ago.
Chalk was fun. |
