You have to beat the game, then it'll appear.
There's one in AD 1000, by Leene Square, AD 2300 by the Geno Dome, and 12000 BC where you end up after the Mountain of Woe crashes. |
Oh, you mean in a Newgame +? |

I bought this game recently, and it was honestly my first time playing Chrono Trigger in any form. I loved it. =D
And to answer the first post, I pronounced Janus like this: Yan-us. |

Nope. You can load your endgame file, and go back to those portals. Although it would be a lot easier going through them after. |
