Okay. So there are many people who hate TWEWY here and there are many people who love it. Most of the people who don't like it, never played it, so they are not liable to say "It sucks". Play it. If you liked Super Paper Mario, You should like it. It is most likely to me the best DS game, and is crammed with features and stoof to do.

It was a decent game, but it wasn't "omg best gaem ever." It wasn't the best Mario RPG, nor was it the best Paper Mario, even.
This is how I feel about TWEWY, sorta. Sure, it's a decent game, and provides some good fun for a while, but it's vastly overrated; I'm actually starting to regret that I decided to buy TWEWY instead of FFIV DS, because of how damn boring TWEWY gets after a while.
So, go ahead and play it, if you're interested, but it's not even close in terms of quality to FF. Not even KH. |

The World Ends With You is a rather short game with a few sidequests. It's pretty easy, a light play at most.
The story isn't all that great, and a lot of the characters are... um, subpar stock-characters.
The gameplay is kinda nice, but it's very, very touchscreen heavy. If you don't like using the touchscreen, stay away from it. On top of that, sometimes, the controls don't work how you want them to... so, the controls are a little buggy.
It's an overrated game, really. It's not the best game ever, but it's certainly not the WORST. If I remember right, the Kingdom Hearts developers made it to take a break from KH... and, Kingdom Hearts is, in my opinion, pretty bad.
Oh, and, the music... um... I guess you get can used to it, but there are only a couple tracks in the game that I found even listenable. ughh. Luckily, most of the fights (should) only last a few seconds.
On another note, the rabid fanbase is terrible. Absolutely awful. Really sucks the appeal out of the game. |

I'd like to know why you think KH is bad. The only arguement I've seen people use is "well, it has kiddy Disney characters so it's stupid," and that really isn't a legitimate arguement at all. : / |

Well, knock yourself over if you want to get a hand on the debates between "rocks" and "sucks".
I haven't played it, but it sounds like it was a risky move from the producers. The rather well known "unique, but not necessarily good". |

Kingdom Hearts... just wasn't my kind of game. I found it buggy and repetitive. But that's just me. My point there was just that they basically made TWEWY in their spare time; it turned out okay, but don't expect anything amazing from it.
J-pop is fine if done well. The music in TWEWY just isn't what I like to listen to (with the rap/hip-hop songs).

It's a fairly decent game. Not something you'd wanna spend as much time possible to get the entire damn game beat, but good enough if your bored and don't feel like getting up to play something else. 3:|════׀ |
