I got out of school today, and my teachers are awesome enought NOT to follow standart policy regarding homework (work due that day must be turned in that day and you have to get homework from that day). Basically, it was our elementary school tour, where we go to all the elementary schools and play there. Band and Choir are in on it too.
The best part was going to the mall for lunch, which only orchestra did. We had a little more than an hour's leisure time including lunch. I went to Gamestop and Radio Shack with my friend. I also discovered the greatest store in the world: It's called For Your Entertainment. It has mostly movies and music, but there's a small selection of games and there's an anime related section. A couple racks with anime, and it was awesome. The ones I noted were Azumanga Daiyoh (or however it's spelled), Lucky Star, Code Geass (a box set for $75, I could have bought it but I didn't.) and Nadesico. I went there twice, Radio Shack twice or three times, and Gamestop 4 times probably, the first time I got my new hat I am wearing (it has an NES controller and says player) and the last time I got Disgaea DS. |
