I read the short-story before I saw the movie.
holy shit they are nothing alike other than GUY GROWS BACKWARDS
I mean I did expect them to add stuff since the original story is pretty short but they could have at least kept some stuff the same come on
BENJAMIN HATED HIS WIFE AS HE GOT YOUNGER BECAUSE SHE GOT OLDER AND WAS NO LONGER HOT
THERE WAS THIS WHOLE THING ABOUT HIM BEING IN THE MILITARY AND AT FIRST THEY WERE LIKE "DUDE YOU'RE TOO OLD" BUT HE EVENTUALLY BECAME A HIGH RANKING, RESPECTED OFFICER BUT THEN HE GREW DOWN AND NO ONE TOOK HIM SERIOUSLY BECAUSE HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS 15
HIS DAD DIDN'T LEAVE HIM ON A DOORSTEP HE WAS LIKE "this kid looks like a prune but he is still mine I gotta deal with this shit" AND PRETENDED THAT BENJAMIN WAS HIS DAD UNTIL HE STOPPED LOOKING SO OLD
Capslock off. Punctuation on.
Movie was still good but there was no reason to change all that stuff. |
