Mine's starting to go...the touch screen is super-mega-ultra scratched up and is starting to get unresponsive, I've lost all my styli and they don't sell them for the original DS anymore, it sometimes doesn't register that there's a game in the slot...
But my parents aren't exactly keen on spending another $130 or however much the DS Lite is now for a video game system. = / |

Mine doesn't always register the GBA slot.
Nonetheless, you must be putting a lot of pressure for scratches. |

I always feel weird reading topics about peoples' DSs breaking or getting worn out, since the only time I messed up a DS permanently was my first, which I dropped on the floor.
My current DS, and DS Lite, are both in find condition, maybe with a couple scratches or smudges on the outside. Nothing big.  |
