I dunno... I've been thinking about this a bit lately.
For those who don't know, The World Ends With You's Game has the Players forfeit what they prize most--for instance, a person or a relationship--in order to enter the Game at all. They get it back if they win; if they lose, well, it doesn't matter anyway.
So--if you were to be forced into the Game tomorrow, what would your entry fee be?
Me... well, at the risk of sounding unoriginal, it'd be my memories. I am the sum of what I've seen... I value the past almost higher than I do the present. Unhealthy, maybe. But it's what I cling to. |
