Because if there was already a topic, I'm not going to necropost.
AAAAAAANYWAYS, feel free to post some details about your playthrough.
I'm on Chapter 11, part 3, and I almost have a full party ;;
I also have a dragon. His name is Lars. He is level 8. I am sure he will kick ass.
My best characters are Laharl, Maderas, and Jennifer (you get her at the end of chapter 9, which is the best in terms of lulz.
Laharl is 46, Maderas is 39, and Thursday is level 36. I also have the best prinny ever. His name is Stan, he is level 9, and he has 911 HP and 232 attack.

I love the shit out of this game. It's like Final Fantasy Tactics on enough LSD to kill an elephant.
I'm at the beginning of chapter 8 right now, with the Enemy Boost x3. This game can be really *crag* hard when it wants to. ФֻФ |

Indeed it is. Hurry up, I'm lonely up here at chapter 11.
For chapter 8, all you need to do is extremely overlevel for the first part. The rest is so *crag* easy it's not even funny due to your being overleveled. Also, don't send everyone out at once.
This is what I did:
Had my Brawler toss a Treant from the left so it was diagonal from the top two treants, then brought in Maderas (he's a beast when leveled) and had him Chaos Force 'em. It's really helpful with that Treant up there since Maderas is a good damage absorber, plus it's likely the treant will beat up his allies. Also, chaos swarm since Maderas is probably surrounded. |

Also, beat it by the skin of my teeth. No grinding required. The next one was much easier.

Don't get me wrong, I've played the PS2 version. Bought it when I moved here.
It's a great game, I agree. I just might get the DS version soon, if possible. |

Lose to Mid-Boss. You get an alternate ending, and you can do New Game+, which starts you off exactly as you were, and Pleinair will join you if you talk to her.
You'll need her. Trust me. ФֻФ |

I unlocked Prinny Land today. *crag* awesome.
Stan jumped up from level 13 to 21, and I'm pretty sure I unlocked Cpt. Prinny. Stan's also my only prinny, since I ditched all my others for party space.

Woo. Lotta shit happened since I last came here. Here we go.
Laharl hit level 50 and learned his Ultimate: Meteor Impact. *crag* KICKASS ON SO MANY LEVELS
Finally finished Chapter 11. Now on Chapter 12 which is haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard.
Unlocked Valkyrie (don't have one yet though)
Unlocked Prinny Land 3 which has a Prinny King (scary) and a LEVEL 100 PRINNY GOD (AFUJDSLKADSALKFDJSAK; SOMEONE HOLD ME ;
Got a General Prinny, which was a cheaper choice than a Cpt. Prinny
Beat 12-1 only to find out that my characters are horribly unmatched for 12-2. Way harder than 10-2, TMT, so no complaining about that.
And now I am grinding so I can actually beat 12-2.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I got Tentacles too. Thursday has 'em.
