It hasn't been a month yet so this shouldn't be necrobumping if it is, but,
We don't eat cats in North America because they're not raised as food in North America.
I'm fine with someone eating a cat where it's raised as food, but there aren't really that many places where they are.
Now, cows, are raised as food in N.A. so I'm fine with eating them, but in like...Israel or somewhere they are considered sacred. |

Israeli's are primarily Jewish, They follow the Kosher Diet, Kosher Beef is a staple.

Notice my or somewhere not intending I had no idea what place, but I knew that it existed.
While I got the place incredibly wrong, my point that in North America they're still raised as food.

America is a cultural melting pot so yes other cultures should be allowed to practise things and treatment of animals in different ways should be allowed cause hey its our cultural melting potness |

We need living subjects to test new medicines and the like on, in order to judge what their effects might be. It's not pretty, but it's certainly better than testing products- that may or may not be harmful- on humans first. |
