THIS. GAME. IS. CREEPY.
http://rapidshare.com/files/106691872/Yume_Nikki_0.10_English_v3.rar.html I'd get a strike for piracy but this game is freeware anyway so it's pretty hard to pirate it
Here, have info on how to do something AWESOME! 1. Get the lamp by going in the area with the numbers on the ground, heading southeast until you find a door with 01010101010101 in front of it and walls surrounding all of it but one part, going through the door, and going southeast until you find a small walking lamp. Examine it. 2. Go to the dark area and use the lamp to get the knife by going west then going south after the first big area of patterns. 3. Go to the snow area and enter a house. 4. Enter the hot spring inside it. 5. Follow the path until you get to a balloon. Examine it. 6. Head northeast to the balloon. 7. Follow the path until you get to yet another balloon. 8. Go into the house. 9. Equip the knife and examine the girl. 10. Leave. 11. Go back in. 12. Turn off the lights. 13. Repeat 10-12 over and over until the cool thing happens.

Uboa has already been posted, and most of the members here already played/watched a walkthrough or LP of it. |

Dang, I was hoping I could trick the people who have never played this game into falling for it. |

Flavio's never heard of the game. Maybe Flavio will check it out later.
Probably not though, cuz flavio's a lazy son of a bitch. |

I've heard of this. It's an RM2k3 game, right? I've never actually tried it before, but I might just have to. ФֻФ |

ahaha. Uboa. The knife bit is totally unnecessary, for the record.
I haven't actually watched a play though, nor done it myself, but you've basically mentioned the single thing I do know. |

Really? IIRC you have to kill Poniko before you're able to encounter Uboa.
Anyway, the rest of the game is indeed acid in RPG Maker 2003 game form.
Masada-san is awesome. |

I downloaded this game and I have not found it to be scary in ANY way. Just, kinda demented. |

I haven't had the chance to play this game (and I probably never will until the day I get my own computer), but I've read and watched a lot about it thanks to the magical powers of the internet.
Oh, how I wish I could play this. It's like the game my twisted subconscious has always dreamed of. It's just got that perfect combo of surrealism and freaky-ness that I love so much.
I've managed to watch most of the game on YouTube, including all that fun stuff like going to Mars, meeting Uboa, finding out Monoko's secret, seeing Kyukyu-kun and the face, etc...also, is it wrong if I find Monoe extremely creepy? Normal people just don't belong in this game...it's too weird... D:
Anyways, I'd download it in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the fact that the upstairs computer blocks downloads and the downstairs one is in an area where everyone can see what I'm doing (freaky games + little brother = HEY MOM TAYLOR'S PLAYING CREEPY GAAAAAAMES). Plus, if you have to download it illegally or something (I'm not the brightest bulb in the janitor's closet, if you know what I'm sayin'), I'll surely end up getting caught and subsequently get in trouble. Basically, I'd need my own computer to really download any games at all.
But, yeah.
It's freakishly awesome. If I ever played it, I'd surely be addicted. |

You do have to download it, but not illegally. It's freeware. |
