Koopa the Quick's appearance: In Footrace with Koopa the Quick, Mario meets a Koopa Troopa, but is this their first meeting? When Mario talks to him, Koopa says that "It's been a long time!", which states Mario known him before. However, his first appearence in the series is Super Mario 64, which makes it strange on how he known Mario. What's weirder is that he hasn't appeared in the future Mario games (Super Mario 64 DS, but it doesn't count since it's the same game), but a cameo apperence in Mario Kart: Double Dash! (He appeared as that Koopa in the background in Baby Park, according to Shigeru Miyamoto)
Theory: Mario must've befriended him since Bowser was treating the Koopas in a rotten way, and Koopa must've gotten sick of it. |
