[Aran Ryan]

The source of the voice turned his chair around. It showed a Koopa with a very severe burn mark covering half of his face. Another burn mark covered the Koopa's right hand.

"HE did this to me!" He shouted, pointing at the severe burn mark on his face.

"If you were part of an experiment that your own teacher tested on you and then tossed into a river of lava for being useless, wouldn't you be pissed too?! Huh?!"

[Medikoopa]

Kammy was shocked and quite confused.

"Your teacher? Wait... why didn't you get those tended to by a Medikoopa?"

[Aran Ryan]

"I was washed along the lava river. Do you expect a "useless traitor" to be healed by one of your pathetic medics? My legs and my left arm burned completely off of my body. I thought it was the end for me... but then... I saw hope."

He turned to the side, and lifted up the sleeve of his left arm, exposing a cybernetic arm.

"I was reconstructed. I haven't felt more alive than ever after it was done. Of course... once I was done, I killed the old man who fixed me. Poor guy... I bet his brains are still splattered all over that wall as I crushed him to tiny broken pieces!"

He then began to tap his fingers together.

[Medikoopa]

Kammy did not know whether to pity the unfortunate Koopa or be abhorred by his actions and form.

[Aran Ryan]

"What's with the stare? Do you miss your brother? Pay attention!"

He took out a Bullet Bill pistol from his robe and shot it just to the right of Kammy. The bullet itself narrowly missed Kammy's head as it shot through a bulls-eye picture of Kamek.

"While I ran from my dead fixer, I decided to build things myself. See all of those Magikoopas out there? The ones that tackled you? Might be mere clones, but they are almost as powerful as I am, only just a notch weaker."

"We are not the normal Magikoopas you usually see. Because of your brother's messed up experiment, we are faster, stronger, smarter, accurate and much deadlier."

[Medikoopa]

"As well as more maniacal." Kammy stated rather bluntly.

[Aran Ryan]

"It's only a side-effect."

From there, the freaky Magikoopa pushed a red button.

... And Kamek appeared strapped down and gagged to a chair, hanging from the ceiling.

"Kahmmy! Mmmph!"

"I really do not know what I should do now. I could either... kill him now, and have the whole ransom thing get brushed off. Or... I can... force you to join us... while he's helplessly watching. What will it be, Kammy?"

[Medikoopa]

Kammy looked from the madman to Kamek and then back. She was deep in thought for quite some time, but there were some things she had to know before coming to any decision.

"Should I agree to the later, would you release my brother as well as waive the ransom?"

[Aran Ryan]

"Mmph! No! Kahmmy!"

A sneaky smile ran across the mad-Koopa's face.

"Yes..."

[Medikoopa]

"No tricks?"

Kammy glanced at Kamek. She looked apologetic, but she was doing this to ensure his safety.

[Aran Ryan]

"No tricks. I promise."

Kamek managed to get the gag off of him.

"Don't do it, Kammy!" He shouted... but he sounded very exhausted.

[Medikoopa]

The Magikoopa closed her eyes and sighed.

"I don't want you to be hurt, Kamek..."

[Aran Ryan]

"... Kammy..."

"So... you agree to join us, Kammy? Hmm?"

[Medikoopa]

She was silent for a good couple minutes before answering.

"Yes."

[Aran Ryan]

"Then it's settled."

The Koopa then clapped his hands together.

"Kelv!"

A Magikoopa, wearing a reversed pattern of the black and red robes entered.

"Yes, sir?"

"See Kammy here? She's our new member. Make it quick."

"Yes, sir!" The young Magikoopa pulled out what looked to be a needle filled with a red liquid inside. He held it to Kammy's neck.

"Anything you'd like to say to your brother?" He asked Kammy.
