"New" FE on the DS. It's actually the first one remastered. So far, it's pretty basic FE gameplay, but a friend tells me you can change character classes, like a swordsman to a mage. Can't wait to give that a try. |

the lack of unique palettes saddens me
Anyways, I imported it when it got released in Japan. It was okay. Not bad, but nothing compared to the better FE games, like, FE4. |

The reason why I think this game is great is because I love the idea to remake a really old game and improve things. I like the new support feature personally. Especially since its a remake of the original FE, <3.
The storyline is intriguing, (at least for me), the characters are well developed, and I like the cute animations.
Apart from the bad stuffs, I still love FE, and this one is my 2nd favorite FE game (FE Blazing Sword still has something others are lacking IMO) |

What with the flak this game has been catching, I don't think it'd be a good one to start with. If you can hunt down one of the GBA games, that'd be ideal, but try getting Path of Radiance (gamecube) or Radiant Dawn (Wii). Or you could track down a translation and a ROM of FE6 for the GBA. ФֻФ
EDIT: Also I just bought this game. Let's see how this goes. |

I'm at Chapter 4 (Disgea takes priority.) right now, and I'm trying to recruit someone while keeping one of my healers alive. It doesn't help that said recruit is amidst a bunch of horsemen and healers can't move for shit. |

Well then, let me tell you why this game is awesome.
Reclassing is incredibly fun. I made one of the fighters you get in chapter 3 (specifically Bord) a Mercenary, so now I have two: him and Ogma, and they kick ass.
I need to fool with the system some more.
Also, I beat chapter 4. Merric is awesome. He took down the boss in two turns all alone, and said boss couldn't do shit about it because he was equipped with a close range item. |

Tip for everyone: Switch Cain to Myrmidon as soon as possible. He's not as good as Navarre but he seems to have horrible growths as a cavalier and he makes a pretty good myrmidon.
This game has successfully pulled me away from Disgaea DS and Exit Fate. And I didn't think that would be possible. I really like this game so far. ФֻФ |
