Hanataro stil was in panic slashing now at the blob in fear of death.

((Considering how the blob is towering over the building, I would assume that as perfectly feasible[/sarcasm].))

(slashing at, not slashing. As in: He's just waving his sword at him thinking he can actualy do something.)

[Ignis Phasmatis]

Ignis had been lurking in the corner with the majority of the party's alcohol when the roof was torn off. Rather than springing into action, he simply smirked and took cover out of sight of the blob and guests and began to listen intently...

[Spiny]

*He stared up at the blob, his eyes slowly fading to a pale yellow.*

[Lord Rattata]

He was backing away to an area where he might want to escape.. Last time he was in a party, there was rising nothingness... literally.

[Tayl]

The gigantic blob didn't seem all too entertained.

"Hahaha, you all look so helpless from here. But, that's really not the point. We decided to drop by to warn you...to warn you that times are changing, and this little peace of yours isn't going to last much longer. Originally we were going to shred you all to pieces and stuff, but then we decided it wouldn't be much fun if we just killed all of you now. It's much more fun picking you off one by one. And so we will, and then when we do, They'll realize we were the winners all along."

"You're not meaning to tell me that---?!"

"That we're in the competitions? Oh, heavens no! Competitions are much to dull. We do things by our own rules. But, of course, if doing that lets us win, we'd be more than pleased."

"But the competition...didn't somebody...?"

"The competition was canceled alongside the testing, and then they were both re-started. And what better place to re-start them than this odd little gem? Oh, yes, it looks like things will be just like old times...you know, just with more people. Doesn't that sound nice, Celly?"

"Far from it..."

[Macha]

Django reaches for his gun, only to remember he left it in his room. Bad luck. He drops into a fighting stance, though.

"...Competition?"

[Lord Rattata]

Yena had two tactics: Run away, or hide. Either way, he was going to do something.

[Tayl]

"Oh? You mean Celly never told you? Right now, your Reality has been forced into an experiment. A simple one, but an experiment nonetheless. It exists to test how certain special people react to certain special situations. Most of these situations involve things that'll probably leave you in a traumatic state for years. One of our missions is to help move that test along. After all, screwing around with people is our favorite thing. Hahaha...As for this competition...well, that would be considered 'classified', wouldn't it? Yes, of course it would! And so, that's up to you to find out yourselves!"

[Dark Prognosticus]

"Cell? Is that true? ._."

[Tayl]

"...Yes, it is...100%...but I'm not going to let it happen!"

The gigantic blob-monster, very much amused by this, proceeded to grab Cel and lift her into the air. She cried out in pain, but you probably would too, considering that there were dozens of spikes digging into her flesh and the blob-monster obviously didn't intend on making things any less painful.

"Listen here, Celly. We have no interest in what you have to say in this matter. Why, you ask? Because it won't matter. What's going to happen is going to happen, and no one's going to stop it. Not us, not you, not the rest of your little pals. So I say you just make things easier and go with the flow until it's your time to die. And if you start feeling brave...well, there's no rule saying that we can't kill you right here, now is there?"
