I got the lunch special. They were out of beef, so I wound up getting chicken. I wonder how it will balance with the miso and the rice... It's not as drenched in sauce as the beef seemed to be, sadly.

This morning I asked my brother to get me a banana strawberry cheesecake nutella crepe which shall be fullfilled in 4 hours or so.

I discovered where a Trader Joe's was, so I went in there intending to get sparkling apple cider, if they had it at a size and price that was superior to the bottle at the small market store near campus. They did, but the large bottle of blueberry pomegrante green tea was a buck cheaper.

I had enough money left over to get a vanella-cream filled zeppola and, for the heck of it, I bought myself a small box of Godiva chocolate, going just $7 over the $18 I had this morning.

*makes a small note to save the cost of the chocolate from next week's lunch money*

Overall, I'd say that htis was a good haul. I just know that I would not had gotten enough pieces of cake out of the 2 for 1 deal at a nearby place to rival the zeppola, as it would had cost just a little over $5 whereas you got more for a buck less with the zeppola.

Mine looks roughly like that, but with a candied marashino cherry on top of all vanella cannoli-cream (I call it cannoli cream because it's the same kind that is inside cannolis).
