The Nintendo Japan Wii site has a new Classic Controller PRO model. It is larger all around and has Playstation-like grips. I agree that the CC needed a update (the analog sticks are too close on the current model, my thumbs collide), but I really wish they had made 6 face buttons for the real Pros.
Would you get this? How often do you use the Classic Controller?

I might get one, I use a Classic Controller for my Virtual Console games, and my brother uses it when he plays Brawl. |

What use is there really for 6 face buttons?
...also you must have some pretty big thumbs if they collide...
I can't see the controller from school, but my classic is perfect right now so I probably won't. |

Hm. That controller looks nice. I can sort of agree with the Classic Controller needing an update, but then, I have the Nyko Classic Controller Grip. I can always go for a similar controller, and it might as well be perfect for a Wii Installment of the Katamari Damacy series (if there will ever be any). |

Its looks badly made. It looks like they just put the classic controller on a PS controller and made that white too. Not much difference. I don't even own a classic controller and I like the current design. |

I don't own a classic controller, but I might pick this up when it comes out. |

It seriously looks like they just added handles to it and repositioned the Z buttons...
M'aiq never uses the CC anyway. GC controller works better than that thing.
Nintendo should just give us that SNES controller. That is, if they liked money, they should. |

Not getting it. The CC is crap. Let me know when they release an Wiimote attachment that lets you plug in another controller (Like an NES controller, or an N64 controller) so the VC actually seems like you're playing that console.

I used my Wavebird for a lot of Virtual Console games, but the controls on SNES games in particular was definitely the main reason I got a Classic Controller. Playing Donkey Kong Country was always a particularly uncomfortable experience... >> |

Looks like a rip-off. I see very little difference. I'll stick to my GC controller, thanks. |

I see no reason to buy this. Like at all. The only change is that it's bulk makes it look like it will suck MORE power out of the Wii Remote. |

Super Mario RPG is very unconfortable with the GC controller. To do a run jump, you have to like stick your index finger on the Y button, get your thumb on the B button, and put your middle finger on the A button. It's retarded. I really need a classic controller. |
