Hormone Replacement Therapy has begun for me. I started last Friday. If you are really interested at all in what's going to happen to me, I suggest research, because I don't want to post a wall of text about the effects. If anyone has questions about it here, though, I'll answer. That is all.

I don't feel like it. I'd prefer answering direct questions, and not a whole bunch of them at once. It's easier. D<

Why did you do this?

Don't get mad because I don't know, I was banned from December '07 to September '08 .

Does it take away certain organs and replace them with other organs? Or do you have to go through surgery for that?

If you have to go through surgery for that, what's the point of the hormone therapy?

Because I am a transgendered female, and HRT is part of the process of helping me transition to start living full-time as a female by bringing about some physical changes and effects. I'm not mad at you, I know you aren't trying to cause trouble or anything.

HRT does not change my current sex organ into a vagina. That is what the surgery, known as SRS (Sexual Reassignment Surgery) is for. HRT, SRS... these are major steps in the Standards of Care for Transsexuals, guidelines that must be followed to legally go through with transitioning into the female role completely and as safely as possible (or into the male role if someone is a transman). SRS is often the last, final step.

The point of HRT is to get other effects, because SRS is solely for the sex organ and not other sex characteristics like breasts, female contoures, softer skin, etc... all effects that come from the process I've just started.

Yes, and it is the first "taste" in order to once again give people a chance for a period of reflection, I heard.

Good luck; I hope it won't be like a second puberty. Generally, artificial hormonal dosage is less pleasant, so I hope it'll go over swiftly for you.

May you find happiness.

Thanks a lot, Zelnor. And a second puberty is actually exactly what it is. But it's a teenage girl's puberty for me this time.

Thanks, Black. At least I won't get periods... that I will never experience. xD But it will be painful, particularly during the earlier stages of breast development. I'm already feeling some aches. Still, I'll survive, the pay-off for me is worth it. My professional/doctor said that I should actually develop considerably large breasts. As long as they're not too uncomfortable, that makes me quite happy.
